SECOND To NONE intimidation factor Golden Colorado

There I am, at home, having just returned from walking the dog, when I see a young man walking down my driveway. In my haste to leave to pick up my children from school, I ask him to leave. The young man begins his song and dance about his "gang, life on the streets, have to try and be a role model for my son" routine. The way I can help he and his family to be better citizens is to "donate" magazines to respected charities, such as YMCA, Battered Women's Shelter, Ronald McDonald house. Seeing these organizations on a sheet and that the magazines would reach those specific women, along with the fact that this young man seemed humble and wanted to impress, I bought his scam, hook, line and sinker.

I did not want to leave my house, with him in the driveway, watching me pull away, so I felt coerced into buying this just in order to get rid of him. My instinct was not to buy but he would not leave me alone, so I caved and bought two magazines, in the hope they would be donated to these worthy charities.

Upon returning from pickup, I began searching the company SECOND to NONE, found these other reports on how people have been duped, and now am cancelling my check.

I ask this, do these charities KNOW that there are men and women out there selling these subscriptions on their behalf? Do these magazines ever make it to their mailbox? I will lose respect nor ever consider giving to these types of charities if they have knowingly teamed up with these shysters!!!

I am now out the cancelled check cost plus these organizations are out of an honestly made donation today and will not receive any of my money in the future. They might want to begin their own investigations in order to ensure their reputations are not damaged by this nefarious company!
