Security Associates International Innacurate Billing, Service and lack of contract Arlington Heights Illinois

We also have been under the "security" of SAI. Last summer our son was cooking and the smoke alarm went off. We know it was theirs because a fire truck responded. When I checked with them they had NO record of an alarm going off.
After not receiving a monthly bill, we contacted their billing department and found that our bills were being sent to Caldwell, TEXAS instead of Idaho. How do you mix up those names??? We have had over six other billing problems with that department. No one knows why our bills don't reach us but insist that they did send them.
We decided to change companys, as SAI did not perform up to their end of their own contract, as they were being paid to monitor our home, keep reports of alarms and responses and bill us in a normal, businesslike manor, which they did not.
We have received two letters from SAI stating that they will start collection procedures against us if we don't pay the "lump sum". We have been waiting TWO WEEKS for the copy of our contract to be faxed so we can show our attorney.
