I am active duty military and my spouse got our car when I was in BMT. She ended up getting financed through SNAAC the closing price was 12,900 and it ended up after all the interest being19,500. They then upped our payments from 260 to 365 making it hard to stay on top of payments. We ended up falling behind a month and they sent us to collections, which btw the reason we fell behind is because we had to pay for stuff for our baby and they ended up repossessing our car a day before our daughter was born. We tried to explain it to them and they didn't care they would have helped us out only if we agreed to pay 488 a month which there is no way with a new born we could afford that. Now we are left with no car and a new born that we need to get around town to doctors appointments. On the other hand we now do not qualify for any other auto loans because SNAAC reported to the credit bureaus that we have been paying late frequently and just all around ruined my credit so that we now can not get a car.
