Sell and Recycle Theives, Scam, Fraud!! San Francisco California

 I was attempting to recycle a broken IPhone.  I found Sell and Recycle on the internet and decided this was a responsible way to dispose of this phone.  I answered the question prompts on their webpage and was pleasantly surprised that I could get $100 for my phone.  After a couple of days I received the postage paid box to send the phone - and I immediately sent the phone.

After a few days I received email confirmation that the phone was received and was being assessed.  Another few days passed and I received another email saying that the original offer was being recanted.  I had two options:  send them $6.95 and they would return the phone or do nothing. I responded to this email and after another email correspondence, they instructed me to deactivate icloud and they would honor the original quote.  I did immediately.

On Jun 14, I received an email stating that Wells Fargo would issue a check in the amount of $100 and I would receive within 3-4 business days.  The check never came.  I contacted Sell and Recycle AGAIN and they offered to issue another check.  Again, I got email confirmation that Wells Fargo would issue the check and I would received in 3-4 business days.  Guess what??  I still have not received it.

I have attempted to contact Sell and Recycle countless number of times.  Email s are unanswered...phone calls are put on hold and then I'm instructed to leave a voicemail which promises a return call.

I am frustrated with this business.  They are nothing better than thieves and this is a fraud.
