SFE Energy Door-to-Door sales claiming ,falsely, partnership with BGE Baltimore Maryland

We experience the visits from these bottom feeders' reps 2 - 3 times each month; in spite of the large "No Soliciting" signs posted in every building.

They are NOT partnered with BGE (Baltimore Gas and Electric). What they ARE doing is the same thing that long distance phone providers (the bad ones) were doing years ago. It used to be called "slamming". Without your express permission, you suddenly find your phone, or now, your utilities, to a new provider. In almost every case, your costs will go up.

In many cases these sales people aren't aware they are working for unscrupulous companies. Just don't let them in. Merely refuse to discuss anything with them and whatever you do... DO NOT show them your utility bills. Don't even give them your full name.

You can contact your current provider to insure that they are still your provider. You can also contact the local police... though there appears little they can do. Just be warned!
