This internet retailer specialises in coffee for one cup coffee makers.
It took a week to get thru to this internet company for an exchange request. "Joe" agreed to exchange 2 boxes of coffee for a less than equivalent amount which I agreed to. My return was delivered and signed for at the shoffee location.
The company has not shipped my replacement as promised. Most importantly no one will respond to the 2 emails I sent via their "contact us" link. I also can get no response after leaving 2 voice messages on their phone line.
Although their voice message tells you that they are open 8am to 5pm Monday thru Friday the phone was never answered with my many other attempts to contact them at various times of the day.

Shoffee.com Does Not Follow Through

I purchased coffee at least (6) weeks ago. One of the boxes I received had an expiration date of June 2008. I attempted to email and call the company. After at least (6-8) attempts I received an e-mail (October 17th) from the owner stating that he would credit my account. To date I have not received a credit.
Believing that the owner would act in good faith I placed an additional order. When (2) of the items were back ordered I e-mailed the owner stating that I would accept a different box of coffee instead of the credit with the replacement item being shipped with the back ordered items. I have not received the replacement coffee nor the credit. I have attempted to contact the owner at least (5) more times after my October 17th e-mail.
Dealing with this company is like dealing with two different extremes. Things are either excellent or horrible. Any price saving is negated by their lack of customer service.

Kindly allow the within to serve as a rebuttal to the comment regarding unsatisfactory customer service at Shoffee.com. I can only speak to my personal experiences with this company,
I have been a blissfully happy and satisfied Shoffee.com customer for approximately two years..right after I received the best Christmas present ever in 2006, my Keurig coffee maker. I didn't particularly care for any of the coffee samples provided with my new best friend and began to search the internet for some alternatives.
Shoffee.com was not the first company I tested. I tried three or four. I must admit at first it was all about selection and price. That wore off quickly after I waited 4 or 5 days for my coffee to arrive and had to meet a minimum for free shipping, which I might add was the cheapest and most lengthy shipping available. In Shoffee.com, I have the best of both worlds, great prices and next day service, which is free with $60.
I don't recall how I selected Shoffee.com originally, perhaps it was the reasonable price that first attracted me. Perhaps it was that they offered my personal favorite, Coffee People, along with a huge selection of other major k-cup makers, perhaps it was because they didn't jack up the price to include the free shipping.
Whatever the reason, I choose them and have never looked back. I am constantly surprised when the box is on my porch the next day, how well the box is packaged for mailing. One time there were loose grinds in the bottom of the box. I expected to come across one or more k-cups that were probably crushed or punctured..not so...never found it. When I called Shoffee to tell them about it, they told me if and when I did come across the leakers to let them know which flavor it came from and they would replace it...The next day there was a mystery bag on my porch and I never did find find one that wasn't perfect. I also love the emails letting me know about new seasonal offers and reminders that I might need to reorder. They're usually right!
I can only advise the person who was unsatisfied with the service I have come to count on will give Shoffee the chance to correct whatever concern they might have had. In my experience they have gone above and beyond.
I now have our office manager ordering all our coffee, tea and hot chocolate from Shoffee. Many times, we don't know we are out of a certain kind until we go to get the next box...The longest I've every had to be without my Cowboy Coffee is one day...YOU CAN'T BEAT SHOFEE. COM...THEY ROCK!

Shoffee has issued a credit for the original merchandise after being alerted by Ripoffreport. They responded one day after the posting so apparently they are still in business. If they had responded to me as a customer in the same timely manner, perhaps this could have been avoided. The exchange had never been shipped and I never got any kind of notice that my return was received.

Upon seeing Shoffee.com come up in a report on Ripoff Report, I wanted to post a rebuttal as quickly as possible.
I want all of the customers of Shoffee.com to realize that the headline of this article is 100% untrue. Shoffee.com is NOT going out of business.
The case in question on the Ripoff Report was a specific case where the person received something that they opened, brewed and decided that they did not like, and wanted to exchange for a new and unopen box.
A full credit has been issued for the amount of $19.96 has been issued to the card of the person who filed this report as of 8:31PM EST on Tuesday, September 30, 2001 (it can take up to 48 hours for a credit to post).
