If you want to be employed by Shoppers Drug Mart, I would caution you to think twice before considering the location at Danforth & Ellerbeck.

This store does not treat their employees the best and it shows in their high turnover rate. Many managers, assistant managers, merchandisers and cashiers have come and gone because of how things are run there among other reasons.

Many have felt over-worked, unappreciated, overlooked and not respected. The owner of that store expects top performance for so little pay - even for those in middle management! If you're going to pay them so little, AT LEAST treat them well so that they'll want to stick around and help build your company.

By not respecting the roles of their employees it causes employees to not respect the owner and managers. Even if it's secretly.

ALSO! If you want to be a merchandiser there, please be aware that if someone is suspected of stealing from the store, the owner Farrah expects you to confront the "thief". I have seen some of these merchandisers run out of the store and CHASE after these people - do you know how dangerous that is?!? What if that person accused of stealing attacked her employees? This is what SECURITY is for! Hire one!

It's such a hot mess at that store and many find working there a joke. For the sake of those that currently work there, I hope things do get improved.
