I have to wonder since you have decided to write a report on a website anonmously do you really have a valid complaint? Do you have any proof of what you are saying? Why not go to the company and ask them to help you with your issues instead of commenting on here? You don't even include your name or any identifying information so how could Skyline Publishing possible rebuttal this. I will say that Skyline Publishing is in no way criminal and cinsidering we have an A rating with the BBB and have a good relationship with the Attorney General of Illinois I know we are not criminal! Also, I can guarantee that if you listen to the verification recording of you purchasing the advertisement the agreement was not that we would do work for you and then ask if you want to pay for it! The agreement is that you are agreeing to purchase the ad and you can make changes when you receive the proof. It is that same for all of out 150,000+ customers. If you do not recognize businesses in the guide then maybe that is the reason they have chosen to advertise. Obviously the point of advertising is to gain exposure for your business. Open your eyes and realize that there are new businesses all the time opening up in all areas including yours. Just because you have not heard of a company in your county does not mean it is not real. Give these people a chance just like everyone else to gain more customers. If they are not real businesses then why would they order and pay for advertising? It does take time to finish the publication as you were told in the beginning. Generally from start to finish it can be anywhere from 8-12 weeks. I guess if you received the proof in 8 weeks then you are well within the time frame. I find it humerous that you say a 7th grader can do work as good as ours. I doubt there are 7th graders with graphic design degrees or million dollar printers but hey if they do good for them. I receive compliments all the time about how wonderful our products are and people love them. I apologize if you do not like them but we do the best we can and have many happy customers. As far as incorrect information listed in the book, we are not that worried because as it is a proof we have the chance to change it. The reason we send proof books is so we can be made aware of any incorrect information before it goes to the public. If you read the letter enclosed with the proof book this is clearly explained.
