Smart Certify Direct lies, cheats and steals! Rip-off!Clearwater Florida

Smart Certify direct are CD Rom rip-off artists. They take a CD rom that you could buy at any software company and pawn it off as a $2,100.00 school. This is what happened to me.

Smart Certify had an advertisement on "Tech TV" which falsely claimed to offer a 100% guarantee.We called the number and spoke to a fast talking, lying saleman named Bill Rhrbough. We thought that we were signing our son up for computer school,and he promised us that if there was any problem we could get our money back, no problem. Yeah , right... we have been fighting for our money for 2 years now.

Smart Certify is not licensed to be a school, which they claimed to be. Their software was just a cheap version of something you would pick up at any store. They claim to have a personal mentor which is just a joke. They claim to offer certification, but you have to pay to take the tests.

They claim that there is a money back guarantee. This is a lie. They say that if you open up the software, then all guarantees are void. This means that there are no refunds. We opened up the box, found the program to be a joke. My son tried to get with the mentor and that was a joke too. We called within 60 days for a refund, but they gave us the run-around until it was after 90 days.

They applied for a Sallie Mae School loan for us. So we now owe over $2,500.00 for nothing. Our son didn't use the program, it was just a peice of junk. But it doesn't matter to them. They just take the money and run.

I suggest that anyone even thinking about Smart Certify should run the other way. They are fast talking, lying, cheats. Don't believe a word they say.

If anyone is interested in a class action suit, sign me up!
