SMC loves to run their ads on the internet how easy it is to make money with a home business. It is very difficult to be successful with any business especially with the constant screw ups by SMC.

You have to pay $300 for a membership that will get refunded when you have over $5,000 in sales from them. Would not be an issue for me, if they have their act together.

A few months ago was sent an email about getting a website from SMC for $99. I had a website previously from another company, that was in violation of their agreement. I had to cancel my other one and let them know. No problem, I thought.

I called the number given to me and the guy had very little clue what I was talking about. He finally gave me another number to call. I call this number at least 30 times and always an answer machine picked up. I left a couple of messages and never heard from anyone.

Probably a month or so after that, SMC went to a new website. I could not logged on and sent a message about that and also about trying to get the website for $99. They never answered me about the website and SMC went back to the old website.

Recently, the website does not allow me to log on. I called customer service. The first person told me that my annual fees were due. The truth is they are due the end of May. She then mention about the website in violation. I told her about the email I received and that I cancelled the old website. She was going to transfer me to someone else. She ended up transferring me to a voice mail box system. I don't know whom I was supposed to speak with.

I called back and explain my situation again. He told me that my dues were overdue. I explained to him and he gave me a number to call. I called the number and explain to that person. He told me that there was nothing he could do.

If I wanted to deal with the 3 stooges, I would watch them on TV. Mistakes happen, but this is crazy. I wanted to be able to log into the website, buy merchandise, and take advantage of the $99 website offer. I see no other option, but to report here, list it on my various websites, and blog about this poor service.

You need to think very hard before before you plunk down your money for this business opportunity.
