SMS.AC Spamming Look What Happened ripoff spam sms.ac micheal fbi San Diego California *UPDATE.. SMS.ac aggressively protects the safety of its employees through use of law enforcement.
Rip-off Report Investigation is complete: We note that with over 35 million registered members, there are only a mere 15 Rip-off Reports filed on the Company, which is an outstanding record. We commend the Company for asking us to look into these Reports with a sincere effort by the Company to satisfy any customer that might have fallen through the cracks. Not too sure what the problem could be with a money back guarantee?! With 35 million customers, and hundreds of customer service people working at the Company, we would think they would have a lot more complaints, but they don't. We all know how customer service people can be, remember they are human too :-) .
Investigation shows many of the comments made about the Company are ludicrous and were more than likely posted by competitors and should not be taken seriously. ALL BUSINESSES WILL GET COMPLAINTS, BUT HOW THOSE BUSINESSES HANDLE THOSE COMPLAINTS SEPARATES GOOD BUSINESS FROM BAD BUSINESS. As a matter of policy, when Rip-off Report is retained by a business to investigate independently and to publish our findings, we use every bit of information at our disposal to determine the truthfulness of the complaints against the company or individual... there are no guarantees as to the final outcome. Our final investigation shows that the company has demonstrated excellent customer satisfaction and has reasonably addressed all outstanding complaints. Anyone may contact me EDitor@ripoffreport.com with any questions or information. ..Also, the company has set up a special email address for those who may have a special refund request (although the regular refund procedures seem to be exemplary). The address is: email@example.com

NOW TO THE ORIGIONAL REPORT THAT WAS FILED
I've read numerous reports on SMS.ac spamming individuals who did not OPT in. Many people have filed complaints here and other sites. I've known people who have worked closely with Micheal and have told me how much of a Shady person this guy is.
I continued to get spam from them, very misleading spam at that, even after I called them via phone and asked them to stop sending me spam and specified the e-mail addresses.
I then took it upon myself (since I work down the road) to send them a semi threating letter intending to visit their office and "beat their executives ***es" if this spam did not stop. It was getting out of control and between the 3 e-mail addresses I own, I was getting upwards of 30-40 messages a week from them.
Low and behold out of no where the FBI shows up at my work to talk with me about this. Jeapordizing my job. This is a non related work issue and I think it's completely strange and possibly illegal that they showed up at my work. I'm looking fora advice on where I stand with this. They just wanted to inform me I made a threat. Apparently they were convinced I was a user of their service which is absolutely not true, as I would never use such a crap service to begin with.
They brought in my CTO and head of HR with 3 FBI agents. So let me get this straight. Sending millions of solicited spam is ok, but someone getting upset makes the feds get involved?
