I would like to start by saying I love Sonic!! However, they are always over charging for the items I purchase so I highly recommend making sure they are charging you correctly!

Today, I ordered a Mushroom Melt $2.49, made it a combo $2.00, and asked for the drink to be large $.90 (which also includes the tots being large). The subtotal is $6.39 (keep in mind I didn't get large tots) plus tax but they tried to charge me $8.61 including tax! On the receipt there was a misc combo charge of $1.08! I asked the carhop what the charge was and she didn't know. She went back inside and asked the manager. The manager removed the "misc combo" charge and my new total was $6.27. That is $2.24 difference!!!

This is not they only time that I have been charged a "misc combo" fee!!! Half the time Sonic does not charge me correctly therefore I keep a watchful eye on my total! I usually order the same thing so I know what the correct amount should be!

Please watch out for the "misc combo" fee!!!
