SoniCable is selling an Iphone and Android charging cable that they advertise to charge the Iphone or Android phone in 1/2 the time required by the normally provided cable. There is a switch on the cable that when on the cable is in the 2X charge mode. When the switch is off the cable is in normal charge mode.
These were sold on Indiegogo.com which is a croud funding site. There are 1000s of complaints and Indiegogo.com is not helping with this companies campaign at all. They are directing people with complaints to contact Sonicable.com.
Also, many people outside of the USA have complained that they have not received their cables months after the campaign has ended and others (in the USA) have received their cables. See Indiegogo.com and search for SoniCable and read the comments.
Then main complaint is that the cable does not charge in 2X mode with a 1/2 charge time result. I have done testing and the charge time is about 30 mins longer than a normal cable.
Contacted Indiegogo.com and told to contact SoniCable.
I send an email via the Indiegogo.com website to SoniCable stating the charge results and have not received any reply.
No reply is a the main complaint from others who have purchased this cable and also the same slow charge results
