I ordered a used transmission from this company July 30 2013. Had it shipped to my local transmission shop. It arrived in 2 weeks. They installed it and found issues. Its  ll but impossible to  contact this company's warranty dept by way of fax, emails and phone calls both by myself and the repair shop. after two weeks of trying to reach them I was told they never recieved the required written report from my repair shop , this is after many faxes, emails and left messages, they claim they never recieved. Complete lies.

Finally after 3 weeks, we got them to ship another transmission. it arrived and was found to be defective. repeat the above process with the same results. They shipped another transmission. It arrived with water in it. Upon many phone calls to the warranty dept once again, I complain that the repair shop says this transmission has water in it and is likely defective.  I was told that their transmissions are steam cleaned and this is normal. My shop inspected this transmission and found it was not cleaned, steam cleaned in any way and that in fact was rather dirty. I wa sassured by the warranty dept that it had been inspected and was a properly functioning transmission. This was an outright lie.

The shop did install and was found to be working properly.

So,, two months in the transmission shop, 3 transmissions later, was charged for 3 transmission installations, 3 filters, three oils, 3 service checks and what shoukld have cost me 500 bucks for installation now cost me 1500 bucks for installation. Southwest transmissions said that installation labor is NOT covered under their warranty. Called the bank cancelled credit card transaction , considered them frauds.

BUYER BEWARE DONT DO BUSINESS WITH ANY COMPANY CALLES SOUTHWEST ENGINES OR SOUTHWEST TRANSMISSIONS. YOU WILL NOT ENJOY YOUR EXPERIENCE.

    Hello!
I've started the petition "Wisconsin Governor and J. B. Van Hollen Wisconsin, Attorney general and Wisconsin Department of Agriculture, Trade and Consumer Protection:

Investigate, take action, and if needed prosecute Southwest Engines Inc. 2100 East College Avenue Cudahy, Wisconsin USA for any dishonest, fraudulent or illegal business practices." and need your help to get it off the ground.
Will you take 30 seconds to sign it right now? Here's the link:

    http://www.change.org/petitions/wisconsin-governor-and-j-b-van-hollen-wisconsin-attorney-general-and-wisconsin-department-of-agriculture-trade-and-consumer-protection-investigate-take-action-and-if-needed-prosecute-southwest-engines-inc-2100-east-college-avenue-cudahy-wisconsin-usa

    Here's why it's important:
Southwest Engines Inc. 2100 East College Avenue Cudahy, Wisconsin USA is preying on consumers. The Wisconsin Department of Agriculture, Trade and Consumer Protection is aware of this but is unable to act swiftly due to bureaucracy. Mean while more and more consumers are taken advantage of. Many consumer losses are for thousands and thousands of dollars. This has gone on for long enough. It is time for attention to be paid to Southwest Engines Inc.
You can sign my petition by clicking here.

    Thanks!
    Ken
