I bought a Soyo barebones system in July 2004, filed immediately for the rebate and as of the end of January 2005 have not received the $70 that I am due. I have written twice to Soyo's rebate center and received no response. When their web rebate site was working it said that my rebate had been approved but it never came.

Do not buy Soyo motherboards and cases expecting to get the rebate, and Tiger Direct (the vendor) will not help you in any way with the problem though they are promoting the rebates heavily.

File a complaint with the Federal Trade Commission and your state Attorney General's Office.
