Soyo Rebate Center ripoff, non-payment of properly submitted rebate Diamond Bar California
*Consumer Comment: Similar Soyo Headaches
I checked at www.verifyrebate.com and they reported that I submitted an incorrect UPC. This is incorrect because it was the original on BOTH submissions. Soyo ripped me of for $50.00.

Your report sounds very familiar. I too have had problems with a Soyo Rebate. I sent in my rebate back in early May for a Soyo $40 dollar rebate on a Barebones Kit purchased from Tigerdirect.com and was told 14-16 weeeks. At first my rebate showed up on Soyo's website verifyrebate.com. Then it conveniently disappeared. In frustration I emailed them and received the same response as you: they apologized in a misspelled response and promised a response a week before the date I sent the email. It must be a form letter they use. I later called the company and a sales Rep told me I would have to fax her everything. Still no response. I did note that now that the rebate is again showing up on their website and now it says it was 'approved on 10/27/04'. They are careful not to make a commitment about a check. If anyone out is their is aan attorney, we need to start a class action lawsuit against these people.
