I received a call to list my car with the Specialty Auto Network.
James GAVE ME A 90-DAY GUARANTEE THAT I WOULD NOT BE CHARGED UNLESS MY CAR SOLD THROUGH THEIR NETWORK, AND SOLD FOR AT LEAST THE PRICE I WAS ASKING. He actually told me to list it for $2,000 more than what I had it listed for on autotrader.com.

James pretty much guaranteed they would sell my car within 2 weeks.

I gave them a "recorded" authorization to charge my card....but it was supposed to be IF AND WHEN MY CAR SOLD. It was a WIN-WIN DEAL, for me, AS I WOULD NOT BE CHARGED UNLESS THEY SOLD THE CAR, AND FOR THE PRICE I WAS ASKING!

I received my credit card statement and I find a charge for $399. This charge I am now disputing with my credit card company, as the Specialty Auto Network has refused to refund the $399, since they say "the car sold.
It doesn't matter to them that it did not sell through them. They KNOW it did not sell through them. They DENY their LIES.

The Specialty Auto Network is A SCAM. DON'T LIST YOUR CAR WITH THEM. THEY CALL PEOPLE WHO ARE LISTED ON AUTO-TRADER. Auto-trader is the organization that located my buyer, a banker here in Colorado, who will verify that he found my car through www.autotrader.com. Don't trust Specialty Network's smooth-talking, LYING salespeople. List your car with auto-trader.

I am contacting the Better Business Bureau of Omaha, NB, to report this organization. It is Specialty Auto Network, 3012 N. 93rd St., Omaha, NB, 68134-4716. 1 800 576 1640 or 402-934-7880. I will also be contacting eBay, and telling them that they need to take this network off their site, to protect their own credibility.

SPECIALTY NETWORK NOT A SCAM

AUTHOR: Dipute Resolution - (United States of America)

POSTED: Tuesday, June 22, 2010

SPECIALTYAUTO IS A TITANIUM POWER SELLER FOR EBAY WHICH IS FAR FROM A SCAM.  GO TO EBAY.COM UNDER STORE NAME SPECAILTY NETWORK SEE IT YOU SELF.....

We have looked into the name candice Golden and find no record of doing any transactions with this customer.  We have been doing business for well over 9 years in combined business.  Anyone can make a clain does not mean it is true.  Since their is no record of this customer this leads us to believe that this may be a competetor.

It does not make any since.  The alleged consumer states that they thought they would not be charged util the unit sold but authorized the charge by giving the card number.  Or they understood this would be the one time only marketing fee to advertise.  It is the buyer and sellers agreements as to what the asking price is not ours.  The vehicle does not sell through us because the seller is in possesion of the car and title.  specialtyauto uses several affilliate classifieds and other resources to get the customer the maximum exposure.  Customers receive a welcome letter with all information of policies.

This so called customer must not have read the scam alert information on Auto Trader either before listing with them and obviously if the person used auto trader auto trader did not sell the vehicle either.  The person claiming the BBB report.  Yes we are not one of the companies which pay to keep the complaints off the list.  The fact of the matter is every company receives complaints.  All though we strive to have all the vehicles sell we do not force a buyers market, not even dealers can.

YOU SHOULD FIND OUT THAT THE BBB EVEN MADE THE SCAM REPORT:  SEE htt or http://www.betterbusinessbureascam.blogspt.com     http://www.ripoffreport/better-Business/BBB-Better-Business-Bureu-B-X786.htm

Specialty Network is a SCAM

AUTHOR: beware - (United States of America)

POSTED: Tuesday, May 04, 2010

Check out the Better Business Bureau of Nebraska for yourself. They have an F.

https://nebraska.app.bbb.org

There are 116 complaints filed against the company for making verbal promises that they don't follow through with.

Most of the feedback on Ebay is from them purchasing items. Some feedback is from people who bought vehicles from sellers who were marketing with Specialty Network.
Ebay feedback doesn't mean they are a reputable business.

Do your homework before trusting them.

Beware.

There are lots of people who have posted negative things about them. It is for a reason.

Check out the eBay ratings of Specialty Network store name. Specialty Auto does 6, 000 business transactions a day.

Specialty Auto Network does not dominish any customers concerns, however, just because a person does not get the results hoped for does not mean Specialty Auto is a scam. You cannot get around eBay facts that Specialty Auto Network maintains eBays Top seller award as stated above.

We at specialty Auto Network offer Marketing packages to assist sellers in getting the results they need.  Although specialty Network desires to have 100% customer satisfaction it is not always obtainable due to buyer seller temperments.  The facts cannot be disbuted.
