I would like post my extreme concern with what is going on with Sprint PCS and their targeting of children to generate outrageous fees for their parents. The ongoing marketing of Ringtones to kids for $1 and $2 dollars each seems to be a great way for kids to show off their phones and differentiate themselves from their friends. Just recently, my eleven year old received information about new ringtones which he really liked. As he read the information, the total cost to buy the two ring tones selected would be $2.50 as he proceeded to purchase the ring tones; he then received a notice that the fees to download the ringtones would be an additional 0.03 cents per some sort of measure which he did not know what it was. So, he proceeded to get his ring tones and then realized that we were charged an additional $77.00 on top of the $2.50. He communicated with customer service about it and was told that unfortunately, his phone did not have data service and now he had to pay the additional fees for the ring tones.

This kind of practice makes me sick to my stomach. How can these companies get away with such practices? If this is happened to you post your comments. If you have not checked your Sprint bill lately, I highly recommend that you do every single month. They will generate charge after charge month after month without you knowing about it.
