I don't know what prompted me to switch to Sprint. Actually it was the cool samsung phone. I WANTED that phone. So I switched.. I HATED EVERY MINUTE OF BEING WITH SPRINT PCS. They are deceptive! They lied to me about waiving the activation fee.. which they charged me.
AND my new phone?? Went on ROAMING day and night so I could not receive calls or make calls without being charged extra. I live in Dallas. Dallas is a huge metropolitan area. Should not have gone into roaming. So I went to the sprint pcs store to ask them to help me. Well I get there 15 minutes before they were closing and they REFUSED to help me saying "come back tommorow".
So I did. I demanded my money back for 1) Poor Wireless Service, 2) Poor Customer Service, 3)Being deceived about the activation fee. It took about an hour arguing with the Sales Rep to break my contract and give back my money. I was only 2 days into my contract.
The OUTCOME: I had to talk to the customer service rep from the store phone in a SOUND PROOF ROOM (possibly from all the customers yelling about unsatisfactory service) for about 4 hours to get out of my contract. These people are COMMUNISTS! They kept asking me "What can I do to earn your business?" "Here's 30 free minutes for this month if you stay with Sprint" I told them I wanted out. So I ended up paying $65 ($35 activation + various roaming charges (in the middle of Dallas city))... which I gladly paid so I can be rid of this God Forsaken wireless service.
