StainSafe ripoff, dishonest contract holdings, non abiding service Seattle Washington

I have been battling this company since 2001. I purchase furniture (couch, loveseat, and tables) from Levitz Furniture in Tukwila, WA. in 3/2000. I had a problem with the back of the couch. I first called Levitz, thinking that my warranty was with them. They informed me that the first year of my 7 year warranty was with them, which had passed and the remaining years were with StainSafe.

I then called StainSafe made a claim, they sent someone out a month later. After the gentleman inspected the couch he told me that I would be receiving new cushions in 6 weeks. It is now 12/2003 and I have yet to receive the cushions. I have contacted the company, made complaints, reported them to Better Business Bureau, and even threatened to sue. I am totally dissatisfied with their customer service. These are not warranties that were given with the items purchased. These are warranties purchased by customers to insure their items.
