Stanton Optical B1G1 not free, more like for an extra couple hundred dollars... Miamisburg Ohio

 Before school started I took my daughter for an eye exam. I chose Stanton Optical because they had a "buy one get a pair free" special, along with a "free" eye exam. I took her to Stanton optical for her exam where I was told she had 20/20 vision. Then the optomitrist said she had a focusing problem, and he could give her a prescription for reading glasses that would help her eyes. He said it would be a small prescription but if she wore them for awhile while reading or using the computer her eyes would improve. I had to pay $40  for the eye exam, and I was told it would be deducted from my eyeglass bill.

Then my daughter picked 2 pair of the cheapest frames they had for $69 each. I was told on the phone beforehand that since she was a child they would recomend choosing a plastic type lense that would be safer in case of any accidental breaking of the glasses, for an additional fee. So I expected the bill would be around $100. I was shocked when the associate totaled my bill and it was around $240.

Long story short, after wearing the glasses during her reading time at school my daughter began getting head aches and she has not been wearing them any more. That was a waste of over $200.
