Star Capital Securities Inc. STAR CAPITAL SENDS ME A CHECK AND WANTS ME TO CASH IT AND GIVE THEM $2975.00 FOR TAXES Chataham Ontario

I received a letter from Star Capital saying I won $125,000.00 in a drawing held on March 5, 2008 and they made many attempts to contact me.

So now I am in the 2nd category and am among 40 declared 2nd catergory winners. They send me a check for $4,875.00 and cannot cash it until I give them a call.

They want me to deposit the check and send $2975.00 for government taxes to be paid by MONEYGRAM or WESTERN UNION directly to the tax agent

It sounded to good to be true but I do work for lawyers and ask a lawyer to look at it and he said it was fraud.

I'm glad I didn't do anything crazy because I couldn't afford to get into a delicate situation.

So now I am holding on to the check and see what happens next.
