START Mart RIPOFF! Dishonest employees and managers. Absentee supervisors Lynnwood Washington

I dropped off my SUV at Start Mart to have the alternator repaired.Iwas told that it would be completed on Monday.When i called on Monday i was told that the part had not arrived and that the job had been pushed back until Tuesday.The employee i talked to told me that he would personlly pick up the part on his way in the next morning.

Tuesday morning,I call Start Mart Tuesday morning to find that this employee had the day off.After being patched from one phone to another for a few minutes i learned that the part had been ordered that morning and it was coming from over 500 miles away.

I was then told that my vehicle would be available to me on Friday at the earliest.I informed the store manager that i would be by shortly to pick up the vehicle and that i would like it to be re-assembled.I arrived to find the SUV still in the garage not re-assembled.

I told the mechanic to put the parts back together so that i could have the SUV brougth to another auto shop.At that he placed the greasy alternator and three dirty skid plates on the carpet in the back of the SUV and proceeded to push the vehicle into the parking lot and off of their(Start Mart)property.

I noticed the left side of my vehicle had been damaged during it's stay in their garage and mentioned it to the employees.The receptionist came out of the building and,along with two mechanics,cursed me and one of my friends.They said that the damage was not done there but they would not allow me to enter the garage to check for paint left on their equipment(Hydraulic car lift).

After several attempts to track down a regional supervisor/manager with no response, I finally contacted the BBB.

I could have done more without their help.I have since spread the word locally about this company and the work they do(and don't).
