Strayer University Online It will break your bank! SCAM! RIPOFF! Internet

As all other reports listed here, I must admit their not a suprise. During the admissions process my deadline for acceptence was very limited since it never occured to me that the deadline was less than a week away.

During the procedure they had expressed the idea of getting Aid because it's the best route dealing with education, but my enrollment was only for a Business Certification and they were talking about 1000's of dollars. Unfortunately, I didn't qualify and almost decided to drop the whole process untill another Represenative called me and said I had no reason to stop everything when I would only have to pay $298 per certificate (This is supposed to be the total amount out of my pocket.It didn't exactly make sense with what the 1st rep stated when she talked about $2498 tuition fee.

I ended up taking the class on the basis of what I was just told. With only hours left, he went ahead and enrolled me in the program after I faxed a promissory note stating I would pay the $298 through US Mail. 10 days later after my check was recieved and got cleared, I got a "Financial Statement" showing a balance of $2200. I IMMIEDATLY dropped all classes and blocked future payments. Are they not the biggest liers.

When they began placing reports on my credit the collectors started calling. I Wrote a letter explaining what happened and they practically ignored it. After threatening to file suit I told them what I thought about them and said I would love it if they would try to sue. 7 months later they still continued the threats but never did anything. I'm still being harassed but somehow, their tracks on my credit had disappeared. I can't escape! I did though, tell them I don't want to waste time with a school who only wants to play games.

Please consider this before you do anything with them. Everything in the database on Strayer is true. Just be careful!
