I went to subway last night, and ordered a six inch flatbread with buffalo chicken, Swiss cheese, light lettuce and ranch on it. I was charged $5.40 for just the sand which (I did not get chips or a drink). $5.40 is the cost of a twelve inch sandwich meal (the sandwich, drink and chips). I was not given a reciept either. I finished the sand whitch and went to ask for my receipt because you can pull up all of the transactions to print a receipt.
I told the woman I thought I was overcharged because I only wanted the six inch flatbread, and $5.40 is the cost of a twelve inch whole meal. She asked another woman to come help and they told me I was not overcharged, that the six inch sandwich cost $5.40. My friend said no that's impossible. the woman then proceeded to tell me I was wrong. I asked for a reciept and she did not give me one. So I left a mess on my table and we went home. What can I do to be refunded? I don't care that its like a whole two dollars I want my money!

Refund...Are you kidding?

Okay this "RipOff" has too many issues.
First of all, you ordered, paid for, and ate your sandwich before you complained about being overcharged. The time to complain about the price is BEFORE you pay.
They said that the cost of the 6 inch sandwich was $5.40, so what did the menu say?
Next, I don't know what the Cost of Living is where you are, but I have never seen a Subway have a Footlong Combo meal for $5.40(with or without tax). You are looking at a minimum of about $7 and depending on the cost of the sandwich it could be more.
Oh, and as for you leaving a mess on the table when you didn't get your money back...yea real "classy".

What was the price on the sign?

I don't work for subway, but have been there occasionally. There is a huge sign with every sandwich listed and the corresponding price right above the counter so you know what the cost is as you are ordering. What was the price on the sign?
To compound matters, you might have had a chance had you discussed the receipt and the price differential right at the cash register when you paid. Then you would have had the evidence in front of you (posted price, no receipt and sandwich in full view). I find it hard to believe you didn't get a receipt as the procedure is to give you a receipt simulataneously with your payment. It could have been an error, but since you waited until you consumed the sandwich to mention the receipt it seems unlikely that you didn't get the receipt.
Going back after you ate the sandwich to get a price adjustment on something you can't prove shows bad faith on your part. By that I mean you delibrately waited until you ate the evidence showing what you actually purchased so that you could make an accusation to try to bully the deli into giving you a refund without proof of any kind. If your story is true, which is very doubtful, then next time stay at the register until you get a receipt for your payment. Compare the receipt with the price on the board and then eat your lunch.
