Responding to the lady from Texas about summit Lending Corp in Baco Raton FL. I experienced the exact same thing in the same time frame. I however, contacted the Attorney General Inspection in that State. and the investigators did state that Summit was under investigation. Evidently, they have had a number of complaints and attention brought to them.

I contacted Bill McCollum Attorney General of Florida. the website is www.myfloridalegal.com. and it will let you file a complaint right on line. Mr. McCollum must have passed it on to the proper department. So I would hope that you had saved all of your correspondence with that compnay. Fortunately I had several emails and the bogus contract they had me sign, which wasn't worth the paper it was wrote on. I sent them a hefty package and am waiting to here from them shortly. seems like you and I were not the only victimes of this nasty company. Ripping people off when they know you really need their assistance, by the way they ripoed me for 2800.00 and told me not to pay because the money I owed would be put on the back of the loan and my payments would be smaller. Almost a year later I'm paying 600.00 more to my mortgage and had to pay an additional 2500.00 to another loan mod company. Summits personal that I spoke with at the time kept disappearing after they receivd the money. My mortgage never did hear from them. They just took the money and than avoided me at all cost.
