They are scam artists, They tried to sell us a 2007 nissan altima with 39,000 miles for    $19,311.21 on 8-15-09. They could not get us approved from any lender because they where charging way more than book value, So no bank would approve it,

One week later we are still not approved and we still have their altima, Now we go to a credit union to get our own financing, The bank laughed at us and said they are trying to rip you off, Now we go back to get our trade in car back and go some where else,

They said NO we are still trying to get you financed, Knowing they cant get us financed they still would not give us our car back,

STAY AWAY THEY EVEN LIED ON THIER PAPER WORK.......

If they CAN'T get you financed, then they MUST give back your trade-in!

***DO NOT SIGN ANY NEW PAPERWORK OR GIVE THEM ANYMORE MONEY AS A DOWN-PAYMENT!

If I were you, I'd contact your Attorney General IMMEDIATELY, and I'd contact every News station in your town right away!!! Make sure to 'Google' this- AUTO DEALER LOUIS F HARRELSON TO PLEAD GUILTY, and read it! There is a chance that the Toyota Dealership COULD alter your income, & alter other documents in order for another bank to get you approved. They might even attempt to send your loan through 'TMCC' in order to have you approved. ('Toyota Motor Credit Corporation')

*GO TO YOUR LOCAL NEWS STATIONS, & CONTACT YOUR ATTORNEY GENERAL NOW!

Good luck!

Of course this dealer was trying to pull one over on you.  You know that you can get a brand new Altima (with a brand new warranty) for about that price, right? Why would you sign such a crazy purchase contract?

You should thank your lucky stars that this dealer wasn't able to finance you.  You would have been screwed if they had.  You dodged a major bullet here.

This dealer, like most dealers, will try and sell you a car for as much as you are willing to pay.   You really need to do some research on prices BEFORE you go shopping and sign contracts.
