Suntan City she wanted to pay cash but all they would accept was an unauthorized credit card Belfast Maine

My girlfriend went to Suntan City to buy a tanning package 'cause she likes to tan. She had her own money and was prepaired to pay the $75 fee in cash.

They wouldn't take her money though. Instead, they insisted on a credit card. The only card she had to reluctently show them obviously belonged to someone else. (me) They didn't care. They eagerly accepted a card in somebody elses name in leu of her cash in hand. They didn't try to contact me for verification.

When I noticed the charge to my account 2 days later, I called them up and had a hissy fit. I told them the charges were not authorized by me and I wanted an immediate charge-back refund. I was Very clear.

They said too bad for you because they would have to fill out a "refund request" form and wait 3 weeks to see if maybe it gets approved. Ten days later they accually charged my account Another $78 on top of the already disputed amount.

I then called the main office and told them these things. They again said too bad for you. They said I "need" to call my bank and file a fraud report. I told them that perhaps there was a misunderstanding the first time, but why are you still charging me when you were already told that its not authorized? They said too bad for you; aka...the finger.

I think they're in trouble financially and just don't care any more. Their website says they're not accepting any more franchises at this time and also you can't cancell on line "for security reasons". Instead you have to visit the fisical location in person. Good Luck with that!
