This company will tell you that you have won a vacation or some other such story.

They will then verify your information, and tell you that they need your checking account number to verify you are able to take advantage of their offer.

They will tell you that you are not giving them a check number so they can't charge you.

THIS IS A LIE.

Electronic checks can be drafted with any series of numbers. In fact electronic checks can be drawn on the same number reperatedly. Your Checking account number is enough information for ANYONE to draw an electronic check against your account.

Save yourself the time and trouble of filing a disbute with your bank.

#4 Consumer Suggestion

Don't reveal ANY information!!!

AUTHOR: Lucas - (U.S.A.)

POSTED: Sunday, November 06, 2005

Never reveal any information to these people. They WILL record it!

Suntasia called my house last week. They asked for my wife, but I told them she was not home. The representative then asked if her husband was home. I said no. He then asked who I was. "Luke". "Luke who?" "Luke Stevens" He then tried to get me to agree to his pitch. I told him I was not interested. After three times saying no (And I was on the line with the phone compnay at the time) he actually acted hurt! "I don't understand. It's free...) I hung up.

The very next day, he called back and my wife answered. She told him that there was nobody here by her name. He then asked for a Luke Stevens. Obviously, he took my (fake) name and didn't think my hanging up on him was considered a no.
