Surepoint Lending, First Residential Mortgage Liers, Complete ripoff Nashville Tennessee

A couple of months back, I had gone online shopping for mortgage quotes. I was contacted by numerous lenders, however, Surepoint (seemed) to have the best deal. I was quoted a 6.00% rate on a 30 year mortgage. Several other lenders told me there was no way this was possible, but I was assured by the loan officer that the rate was locked in.

I should have listened to everyone else because when I received the final paperwork, the rate was really 7.125, with a ton of extra fees added in. Almost 10,000 worth!! I was told that these are fees charged by FHA to do the loan, "risk pricing" they said. Needless to say I did not close the loan and I feel like I was jerked arount the entire time.

I found another lender that told me the "risk fee" they were charging was not a fee charged by FHA like they claimed, but that fee was charged by the lender to make extra money on the deal. DO NOT USE THIS COMPANY, you will pay of ton of unecessary fees, and they will LIE through the entire process.
