I was ripped off $159.00 by Swipebids.com. This company lures you in by letting you think that you are bidding on an item telling you that each bid is .53 and not telling you that you will be charged a membership fee of $159.00. I contacted the company and spke to one of thier rep's (online chat)..and explained to them that I was not aware of this charge and I was an elderly lady that lived on a fixed income and I could not afford this. They pretty much had a canned speech for any question telling me to go to the site and to note that the price was shown above the add, but they could not answer why the amount of the charge that you were being billed was not shown

therefore giving you no option to opt out or to agree to this charge. After much dicussion back and forth I was referred to the refund page to fill in and mail back. Here's the kicker the form will not allow you to fill in the information, I tried 4 different times calling back and explaining my problem, again I got the standard answers as before almost as though they have a canned speech, so I asked ok if I print this form is there an fax number I can send it through on and they informed me that it had to be hand printed and mailed United States P.O. Then from reading some of the complaints that you have I see they can stipulate if you can get a refund or not depending upon if you should win an auction, I think it is a total rip off and I think that someone need to put a stop to them before they rip off more people and I would like to get my money back, but that is probably wishfull thinking.
