On 02/04/16 at 7:37pm, I set up an auto-pay on Synchrony Financial website for my account ending 2823 to pay the full balance of my debt and I received a confirmation email stating, "You have successfully enrolled in Autopay for your HOME DESIGN - FURNITURE / SYNCB account. For your records, your Autopay confirmation number is CC02041608371280296440", this setting was adequate to pay the debt on time and avoid charging me any interests.

Unfortunately, the bank system has not performed well and later I discovered a change on my account have been performed, the auto-pay setting changed to minimum due, without informing me which entailed charging me $2260.20 of interest on a $3670 debt for not paying the debt on time. I am disappointed because I always meet my obligations and I never done this change, and even when I discovered this mistake and the big charge, I paid the full balance $3319.20 at once as a proof of my commitment to my obligations and to stop the monetary bleeding.

When I reached out to the bank, the bank representative informed me that the change to minimum due have been performed after three minutes only of the first set up (i.e. 02/04/16 at 7:40pm), however, the received confirmation email dated 02/04/2016, 8:38 PM which is after that false change by 58min, moreover, I never receive a confirmation email from the bank with this change.

Soultion: Refund the amount of $2260.20 back to me via a check

YOU were not reviewing YOUR account statements where YOU could have caught this error or improper set-up the FIRST time it was paid! Let's see...it's YOUR account and YOU are on the hook for the amounts yet YOU don't even have the COMMON SENSE to review YOUR statements! Absolutely incredible!
