Takhar Group Takhar Collection Services Ltd Demanded Money Over the phone and threatend repoting to Credit agency Niagara Falls, New York

These people wasted TWO hours of my time. A woman called asking for my wife (using her maiden name) when I said she was unavailable, she asked to speak with her spouse.When I informed her that I was he, she only referred to me as "Mr. (my wife's maiden name)" and started demanding that I go to their website and settle her debt so it wouldn't be reported to the credit bureaus.

 They claimed to be accredited with the Better Business Bureau and I had to pay them RIGHT AWAY. When I told her I would research the debt and then settle the matter when I was convinced it was legitimate, she asked me to hold for her manager.

A man came on the phone using the same tactics the woman did demanding that I go to their website and pay this money IMMEDIATELY (It was a sum of $197.77). The book club's website that they claim she owes money to has a problem with the security certificate ans was trying to redirect me to another site.

 After a LONG phone conversation with this individual (Some of which I was able to record) I had hung up once and he called me right back, I told him that if they call me again, I would be notifying the Police. I have not heard back from them yet.
