Do not order anything from this company without asking if the product is a made for US item and not "Grey Market". I placed an order for a Canon camera online. I received an email requesting a phone call to confirm order. As with the other complaints about this company the hard sell for accessories came next. Upon refusing to buy any accessories the representative stated "you do know that this is a Gray Market camera and that if there are any problems with the product it must be mailed to Japan for warranty work." This was not stated on the item description on their website. I asked for the representative to cancel my order when he suggested that for twenty dollars ($20) more I order the U.S. version.

I had to get rude and forceful and tell this individual to not talk over me and again demanded that my order be cancelled at which point he stated he would. The individual did have the courtesy to say have a nice day. Bottom line is the firm is not to be trusted. I honestly do not know if there is in fact a Gray Market camera or if it was actually a ploy to get twenty dollars more than the advertised price. Either way I will not do business with a firm that conducts themselves this way and will gladly pay more to deal with a reputable firm. Let this serve as a reminder to search any internet sales firm for issues such as this. A quick search after the fact revealed a large number of complaints relating to TechonDIGITAL.
