We ordered some products with UPS Ground shipping from The Antenna Farm on Oct. 8, 2008 after calling to make sure everything that we needed was in stock. On Oct. 13, we had not received any tracking information, so we called to find out if we could get it. Mr. Holbrook said that the order was shipped on the 9th, but the UPS site was down, so he could not look up the tracking number. He stated that when he could get on the website later that day he would send us the tracking information. We checked the UPS site after hanging up with him and had no problems accessing our UPS account. He never sent us a tracking number.

On Oct. 14 we called him again to see if he had the tracking number. Mr. Holbrook gave us a USPS priority tracking number and told us that he changed the shipping method because it takes two to three days, less time than UPS ground (I would like to see evidence of that). He said that there was a snow storm in Montana on Oct. 9 that prevented the items from being shipped that day and that they were shipped on the 10th. We paid slightly more for ground shipping than what the USPS shipping would have cost and he never offered to refund us the difference. We have been using UPS shipping for a long time and would have rathered he had sent the order through them instead of changing the shipping method without asking us.

After getting the tracking number from him on the 14th, we checked it on the USPS site. It said that the shipping information had been received by the USPS on the 13th (three days after he claimed it shipped in our second conversation), but that the postal service may not have received the package yet. It is now Oct. 16, three days after the USPS site said they received the shipping information and six days after Mr. Holbrook claimed it was actually shipped. On the USPS tracking site it now states this: "Your item was processed and left our BILLINGS, MT 59101 facility on October 16, 2008" On the order information on The Antenna Farm website it simply says that the order is still being processed.

It seems that Mr. Holbrook is incapable of conducting honest business. His website states that tracking numbers will appear in your account and be emailed to you when the order has shipped. We had to call him twice to get the tracking information and do not believe that he even prepared the order for shipping until the 13th, AFTER we first called for the tracking number. On another review, a police officer left a comment about how honest Mr. Holbrook is. Perhaps he is honest to people he knows are police officers, but he certainly did not come across as being honest with us, or treating us like valued customers.

Oct. 17 Update

AUTHOR: Spectrumvisions - (U.S.A.)

POSTED: Friday, October 17, 2008

The order arrived today without any unpleasant surprises. The only thing that bothers us regarding this transaction is the misinformation regarding the shipping and tracking number and the fact that the order was not shipped via the method that we paid for.
