The Company Store uses US Mail to deliever items to Southeast Alaska, I have ordered from them in the past.

Now they are charging $54.95 to mail a two pound conmforter, but they will let you get clear to the order confirmation page until the $16.95 changes.

I phoned and was told that since oil may go to $200 a barrel this summer all orders to AK,HI & PR will be paying these rates. It does not matter that the mailing costs would be about $6.00 for this item.

This is a blatent rip off by a formerly ethical company.
