I live in Toronto, I asked that the order be sent directly to Belize to replace stolen items from a break-in and to have the house ready for future guests who were arriving shortly. This was very time -sensitive and that's why I asked for guaranteed delivery within a certain time frame and ordered on-line instead of going shopping in person and running from store to store to find suitable replacements. I ship regularly to Blize, it always gets there no problem within four days from Toronto. Sheets and pillow cases are not high alert items. As every day went by and I saw the packages move all over south and central america via DHL, instead of going straight to Belize, I started to worry. Once I called The Company Store, they finally said they would do 'something'. Had I not called, nothing would have happened I realized. They admitted they had not included the necessary paperwork but since then they have been evasive in identifying what paperwork was actually needed and what the status of the packages was and what was being done about it. I have spoken to three people now, and do not seem any closer to having anything effective accomplished yet. I am just left on hold, and given generic answers. When pusehd, they simply become irritated and just say sorry, we understand how you feel. That's it. No solution and no real answers, except that they will try to find out what the issue is and call back. But they do neither and another week has gone by and more guests are arriving. My packages were ordered May 25th. It is now June 15th.
We have had to buy replacement items which are not nearly as good quality, to tide us over for our rentals and TCS is still not giving me answers other than do you want to send down another package and try again? Absolutely the worst customer service and worst problem solving skills I have ever encountered from a company. They don't even put notes on your file when they do something so if one person takes a few days off no one else has any idea of what the status is on your issue so the process just starts all over agian. I would never order from this company again - you are lucky if your package actually shows up - and no offer of any compensation which should be mandatory in this case. I could have saved more time and money shipping from Toronto as everything gets to Belize in four days guaranteed or you get your money back, even if it is one day late. I'm sure that the fact my packages went throughout the U.S.A. and then through Central and South America before landing in Belize is probably a part of the issue. But not having the correct documenation to ship to a country that you have on your list of countries you ship to?? And then not solving the problem in a timely and courteous and efficient manner? Especially if you are a 'supervisor'? And I have spoken to two supervisors now, both equally ineffectual.
Simply put, they cannot deliver within the time constraints they promise, they do nothing if you do not call them, when they do 'something' it is the bare minimum, they do not call back as promised and no one talks to the other, no one writes notes in your account, so you have to start over with a new person every time you phone in. And each time you are put on hold. They read from a script and apologize and seem incapable of asnwering a direct question with a direct answer.
