Similar to the several other Rip-off Reports on TheDigitalExpo, I tried to purchase a Canon camera from their website. I was informed I had to call in to confirm the order. When I called they tried to sell "accessories" telling me, for example, that the standard battery was only "good for 1/2 an hour" so I would need a stronger battery for an additional $99.
When I declined they tried to sell me some other 'enhancements'. When I declined to buy any accessories they told me it would be sent to me UPS ground. When I checked the status of the delivery I was told that they were out of stock and so my order had been cancelled. Checking their website, they showed the same Canon powershot model for sale and "available".
They claimed they notified me of the cancellation by e-mail. But as with the other rip-off reports, I never received it.
