Thedigitalnerds.com, The Digital Nerds Called to "Confirm", Tried to Sell Me More Stuff Riopff Internet

I would like to clarify that I haven't been ripped off, yet. I've read similiar reports to mine, however, so it seems helpful if only to back up there experiences with mine.

I bought a camera through thedigitalnerds.com website and received an email to confirm my order. I called the number provided and spoke to a representative. He seemed friendly to start. When he pulled up my order, he told me he noticed I wasn't buying a memory card with the camera and then started to pitch a 512 mb card to me. I said, "Are you seriously trying to sell me a memory card, right now?" He said something close to, "You've got a problem with that? I'm going to hang up on your face. You can go buy your camera somewhere else." I said that was fine and he indeed hung up on me. I don't think I was rude towards him. I was surprised, though, that he was trying to sell me something else when I was supposedly confirming my order.

It seems the only way they have low prices is if they can make up the difference buy selling you more stuff over the phone. They haven't billed my credit card, yet. I'll keep checking, though.
