The Digital Nerds Bait and Switch Scam; NO Customer Service Internet

I too was scammed by this online company. The story is the same: I ordered a camera online for a reduced price than that I had seen in a local big box store. I was told to call the "customer service" number and when I did, the person on the phone attempted to sell me accessories for the camera that I didn't need. Only after telling him firmly that I'd purchased several of these cameras before and I didn't need the pricey accessories, he informed me that the camera I ordered was a "Chinese Model" and the menu and instructions would be in Chinese. Furthermore, if I wanted the English version of the camera, I'd need to pay an additional $50- 75.

I began to tell this person how their website made no mention of this "Chinese version" and that this was nothing more than an obvious "Bait and Switch" scam when he asked if I wanted to cancel the order, I said "yes" and was told I'd receive an email. He then hung up the phone abruptly.

Neither this company or the website that directed me to them has responded to my emails and requests for an explanation or restitution.

Please avoid at all costs the websites "everyprice.com and thedigitalnerds.com" unless you want to waste your time and possibly your money.

BTW, It appears that shortly after this transaction ( or near transaction ) my credit card was flagged for unauthorized purchases and fraudulent purchases. I am not insinuating this website or anyone associated with it made these charges. But the investigation is ongoing. Be very ware
