I would like to tell you my story of heartache. It started 1 year ago when I wanted to get out of a little debt ($5000) and make some home repairs. My husband was ill but on his way to recovery. At this same time my father-in-law passed away. This is when Mike Dennis came into our lives. He contacted me through the Lending Center. He told me a grand story of how I would be out of debt and have lower payments. I would get $13,000 out of my house in equity. I believed him. He took us for a ride. We ended up with 10.89% interest rate, a $1264 a month payment, and no money out. We signed the papers because by this time we were past due on our current mortgage, because Mr. Dennis told us not to make our payments (there was no need). Then our misery really started. Our loan was turned over to OCWEN. We couldnt make our payments and so we fell behind. Instead of being $5000 in debt we are now $40,000 in debt. Ocwen would not work with us at all. Have you ever spoke to anyone that speaks English? We have filed Bankruptcy. We are not sure still if we can make our payments. OCWEN will not work us in any way to help us to stay in our home. We receive harassing phone calls all the time. I can never speak with the same person twice. I do not know if there is anything at this time that we can be helped with but please let me know.
