I bought a cell phone with the promise of a rebate at The Mobile Solution at the Maine Mall. At the time of the sale they insisted that my cell phone purchase qualified me for a $50 rebate from Cingular. They told me to apply for the rebate at cingular.com. After the sale I could not find information about a rebate for my phone on the website. When I went back to the store, they said I must have confused it with another phone. The rebate was just a bald-faced lie to get me to buy the phone.
