My girlfriend and I went to get cell phones and we saw that AT&T wireless had a 30 day risk free trial. So, we tried it out, and 15 days later we returned the phones because we were not satisfied. Well the next month we got a bill from AT&T wireless. We called AT&T Wireless and told them the situation so they canceled our contract and waved the $400 cancelation fee.

So then we didn't have any more problems with AT&T Wireless. However, 9 MONTHS LATER!!! The Mobile Solutions took $400 out of my girlfiends checking accout. She cancelled her check card and thought it was fraud, then found out what was happening. The people in the Appleton store had never cancelled the phones and they still have no record that we even returned the phones. So we went back to the Appleton store and asked to speak to the manager who we talked to when we purchased the phones. Well, it turns out he was fired. Hmmmm, maybe that was why.

Also, we tried to see if anyone else was still working there who was there when we bought the phones. Turns out they were all fired. So we couldn't get any help there. And they had no paperwork at all. So we tried to get AT&T Wireless to help us out, but the acutal date they cancelled our contract was after the 30 day trial period because we didn't know that it wasn't cancelled until after that, obviously. They said that they didn't have any paperwork saying that we cancelled during the 30 day period because The Mobile Solution did not do their job. So then we called the collection department in California and we talked to a woman named Dawn.

Well of course we were ticked off because Moblie Solutions had taken our money (as any customer would be). Well anyways this Dawn woman was not very nice at all. We told her the whole story and she wouldn't do anything at all, and was quit rude. What a rip off. I will never, ever do any business with Mobile Solutions again. And for those of you who do go through them I advise that you save every paper that you get from them keep it filed and don't throw it away!! They will rip you off. Maybe the employees stole the phones.

The same thing happend to me

I also purchased two phone with T Mobile and They postactivated the phones because I still had a month till I THOUGHT my Sprint contract would be up. Turns out I had another year. So I returned the two phones that were still boxed and never been open or used for that matter. I got the representative you helped me the first time to call and explain the mistake and that i was still in the 14 day cancellation period (especially since it was postactivated) and he took care of it since they wanted me to pay the 250 dollar cancellation fee. I left the mall where they sold it to me relieved that I did not get Screwed once again.
Well 5 months later, my Chase account shows two 250 dollar transactions for MobileSolutions. I was confused because that name did not ring a bell since the stand at the mall was T-Mobile and I called my bank said it was fraudalent. I did authorize any charge by Mobile Solutions. I get home and in the mail there is a letter stating the 2 phones at $250 each that were never returned. I called and they said i did not return them and if I did, All I have to do is fax them a copy of the paper that stated the return. I did not have that paper. I don't save every piece of paper that I get. THERE WOUld be too many sheets of paper lying around. I go back to TMobile at the mall and they say that the guy doesn't work there anymore and that they cannot help me. They said he was fired. Figures. NOW I owe Chase my former bank those 500 dollars.
That stinks to get screwed out of my money just because I could not change providers.
