We hired The Mortgage Law Group, LLP and was led to believe they could help us with a loan modification in a period of 3-4 months. But now, 8 months later, after continual delays on their behalf stating needed more paperwork and proof of income, we are no where.

They continue to say it was the lender holding up the process, but found out the lender hadn't spoken to The Mortgage Law Group, LLP since August and closed our case. After 6,800.00 dollars to them we are in the process of being forclosed on because all they did was take our money and not help us at all.

When you call their number, no one answers, you leave a message and they return it when they feel like it. We also found out it doesn't cost any money to do a loan modification. If anybody is interested in this company, they are a total rip off and strongly recommend that you call your local Housing Authority instead.         

We called the States Attorney Generals office, and the Better Business Bureau to have them investigate their company.
