My experience with New York based e-retailer in sapphire engagement rings The Natural Sapphire company is extremely bad. Last year the company declared 15% discount about a week before Valentines Day. I purchased a heart shaped blue sapphire (about 0 .35 carat) pendent studded in white gold for $4000 for my first wedding anniversary. When it arrived it nowhere looked identical to what it was displayed on the websitewww.thenaturalsapphirecompany.com. It was a big disappointmentFurther the stone had inclusions. The craftsmanship was terrible. Overall it looked like a $20 imitation stuff.

Even worst about 3 months back I approached a local jeweller to valuate it he appraised it at $400 . I was shocked so I did get it re-appraised with two more NJ based jewellers both of them appraised it at $300 and $350. I called up The Natural Sapphire Company who offered me to buy it back at original cost provided I buy a replacement jewelery from them. They are not willing to pay back the money.Recently I goggled for The Natural sapphire Company complaints and to my chagrin found huge number of consumer complaints . Most of the complaints talk about their overpriced stones and jewelry with very bad craftsmanship and doctored images on their web site.Overall keep away from this company
