The North Face The North Face Downtown Boise Absolutely lied to me and ripped me off. Boise, Idaho

This place promises you the world when you want to buy something from them but will lie and cheat you if you ever need to return something. I paid $148.40 in CASH for a pair of shoes and was told if I had any problems to just return them. Then when I did return them I was told they didnt have enough money to refund my shoes and I would have to get a check in the mail from their corporate offices. I was promised a check would be overnighted to me and that I should wait at home all day the next business day. So I waited for Fed Ex yet no check ever arrived. I had to call the store back and say that the check never showed up. They said they are sorry but there is nothing they could do but there corporate offices arent making any checks for right now and that I would have to wait another two weeks to get my money back. I returned these shoes on the 17th of December and was promised I would have my money on the 21st of December. I have now been told that I wont get anything mailed to me until the 4th of January! Thats almost three weeks after I returned my shoes. I was almost promised by the store manager himself (BLAKE) that he would just take care of the problem and pull the money out of his own account and deal with the company on his own. He said he would call me back in a couple of minutes and then never called back. When I called the store back to see why he hadnt called I was told "Oh sorry Blake has gone home for the day. Can I leave a message for him?" This place is an absolute joke. They refused to give me a gift card for my return saying they were in-capable of doing that. They also refused to give me the shoes back. The way I see it is this is plain out theft. They have my shoes in their possesion yet are refusing to give me some sort of compensation. I will never shop at this store again. Lie after lie as if the staff is all in on it together. This is the worst shopping experience I have ever had. To keep someones money a couple days before christmas when they paid in cash and hold it until next year is just absolutely ridiculous and they should be embarrased by their policies.
