Thorobred Chevrolet John-Direct #480-814-1231 Bait and Switch/Selling Certified Used Cars as Used Cars Only Chandler Arizona

I purchased a, "Certified Used Car" from Thorobred Chevrolet on 07-30-2011. I spoke with the on line sales staff first. I had a list of certified cars I located on this companies web site.  Thorobred Chevrolet had these cars listed as certified used cars. My wife and I decided to drive to Chandler, AZ to visit this car dealer.  When i arrived I had a list of certified used cars I wanted to see. I asked for the on line sales manager.  This gentlemen handed me to another sales person (Nick Walag), his phone is 480-782-7616. I explained to Nick that I wanted a "Certified Used Car", I showed him the list I had from the on line Ad. He took my wife and I out to the cars. My wife did not like something in every car we looked at. But we noticed a car that was just what my wife wanted. I asked Nick Walag if this was a, Certified Used Car. He responded that it was and we started the paperwork to purchase this car.

Three months have gone by and it is time for my first oil change. I take it to the Chevrolet Dealer in Yuma, AZ. The gentlemen who helped my wife said this car is not cover under the certified used car warranty. After calling Thorobred Chevrolet, I am connected to a Manager, his name is John S.. His direct phone number is 480-814-1231. He tells me that there is nothing he can do. He said that the boxes in the computer were marked as to say this car was not sold as a certified used car. I explained all I had gone through and I new what I wanted when I purchased this car, so make it right and change the boxes and lets make me happy. He said that this was a done deal and could not help me.      

This manager then offered me 60.00 dollars to pay for a couple of oil changes.  I let him know I was very upset after this and I would call him back after I spoke with my wife.  I received a check for 60.00 dollars on 10-28-2011 stating this was a good will check.
