Thumbtack.com Thumbtack's Utah office has discrimination problems with women, I have been with the company for over 4 years and thought the concept was awesome. but then I noticed 1/2 or more of the leads were dead with thumbtack not verifying them with at least their phone number even though we pay for the leads, San Fransisco California

 Every time I called into thumbtack and talked to certain male employees I was always treated like I was the enemy and I was ridiculous for calling about things and waisting their time and I would be treated defensively by their male employees and they would never act like they knew what I was talking about. Their dominating tactics when you call in towards me made me stop calling and it would be rare that I would call. My last time speaking to a representative was a doozy I got so angry I swore at the rep and it was over him not allowing me to talk to a supervisor, and that day there were no supervisors and he just didn't feel like saying I am sorry we do not have any on staff it is one day after the 4th and most of them are on vacation enjoying their huge salaries, you little people with businesses are a waisting our time. I reported many times to other reps that I was mistreated by a representative and they would apologize and try to help , usually a woman. Why is it that the males that work as representatives are obnoxious condescending and patronizing to a woman when she calls. the women there are direct to the point and usually great communicators, this has become a very very big business and one of the things most of the compalints are about the fraudulent leads with no phone numbers and the customer service. I noticed that their men in the customer service department from the very beginning were extremely rude and not fun to talk to and condescending. Not all of them but a lot of them. How does a business justify deactiviating someone's entire profile that they built for 5 years with all their reviews and contacts and leads over night?

Well I read that one woman said she was going to go to the BBB and the next day her account was deleted, I read that another had her entire profile deleted because they restructured their business and gave her absolutely no notification. There is something very dark about their business and it shows in the representatives that taunt their pros while calling in. The protocal is messed up and they deserve a class action suit for sure. Also if I am not the first woman to be discriminated against if someone reads this please please write out what happened, I would hang up many times if it was a guy on the phone. Not all their guy reps but a good many of them were horrible to talk to.I can't believe they don't train these people with an attitude protocol and a respect for a great pro. I was a star pro on there my review shocked me! One guy lied in part of his review on my site and I never aggressively addressed it because he corrected it with a 5 star review. I was told I was unprofessional but when I addressed the unprofessional behavior of the rep in an email I got no response back because then they would have to admit I was treated poorly and purposely antagonized by yet another male that worked there. abruptly cut my account off with a really high rating / with no access to any of my informaiton! 

was always treated badly by customer service and yet they tried completely turning it on me. it goes two ways with communication, abruptly deactivated my business line with all my 5 star reviews, my client list, my photographs, felt like their staff was discrimintory towards me and they had horrific communication issues unless talking to a supervisor, False leads, 70 percent of their leads seem to be false no phone numbers are required so they can get away with high level of false leads, over charging and changing their system with no notification because their too big! Basically destroying my livelyhood over night because of a customer service rep treating me badly and my reaction to the guy. Failing to hear my complete side of the story, probably because they have so many problems right now that that is why their not very nice!
