Tile Depot, Ordered and paid in full for carpet and have yet to recieve my merchanise Victorville, California

My husband and I ordered and paid for carpet from the Tile Depot. We were helped by a man named Dave Vines. He seemed nice as we explained that we were buying the  carpet for our son's home while he is stationed in the Middle East. He was very friendly and we paid in in full~$2016.24. He explained that the carpet was special order so it needed to be paid for upfront, and he would call in two weeks when the carpet was ready.

After two and a half weeks we called him and he promised to deliver the carpet on that following Monday, he would call on Mon. morning. We never got a call, so we called back three days later and they promised again that it would be delivered, again no call. This has been going on for a few weeks and always with us doing the calling. My husband went in to the store and told Dave that we feel as though we are getting the run-around and he promised we would get out carpet.

Finally, today we go to the store again, and the doors are locked and the front of the store is empty. We call the police they come and several other customers are there also looking for their merchanise, all with the same stories. Looks like we got ripped off~hopefully we'll get our son's money back. We are business owners in the community and would never dream of lying to our customers. A good name is worth it's weight in gold!
