I bought a timeshare in Mexico in 2014 that I never really used and can really no longer afford. I looked online and stumbled upon Timeshare Exit Team under Reed Hein Associates. The site said that they were successful in cancelling timeshare contracts. I contacted them and met with someone in person on April 9, 2018.

The person I met with, Carlton English, stated that they needed $5,867.44 from me in order to get me out of the contract. I couldn't pay the money upfront so they billed my credit card in installments of $492.58 per month for six months. I was told it could take a minimum of 9 months for the contract to be cancelled.

I called several times over the last month to get a status on my case. I cannot get ahold of anyone now. I feel humiliated that I was taken in this manner and I want something done.
